I’ve designed these with these key features in mind: - heavy treads to reduce the boot slipping out in wet or muddy conditions - smooth surfaces to prevent friction against the sides of your boots and protect the leather - quick release mechanism that is not weight dependent; if weight is pulled through the mechanism it will open, regardless of if it is a lighter rider or child. - suitable for wide boots and safely accommodates both gumboots, work boots, safety and steel caps (can show picture) and avoids rubbing the leather off riding boots - easy grab; lost your stirrups? No worries, the weighted steel center helps them lie flat along your horses girth so you can get your feet back in them in seconds and no need to fumble around. Aureus equine is designed by a rider, for riders. Having seen too many horses in poorly fitting bits, unsafe stirrups and saddle pads without wither clearance, I decided to make my own. Note: although these are safer than a traditional stirrup design, no piece of tack can guarantee that a rider will not become trapped or dragged in a fall, however it greatly reduces the risk of this happening.
